The Craft Behind the Cup
We started this business out of a passion for roasting coffee for ourselves, family, and friends. In the last 5 years, we have gone from roasting on a modified popcorn popper in the kitchen to spending everyday in our roastery perfecting the craft of micro roasts on a 3 kilo convection drum roaster.
Each coffee has its own unique characteristics (and challenges) and every roast can bring these characteristics to the forefront, creating complex and desirable flavors. Our goal is to share these beautiful coffees from all over the world and help our local community while doing so. Chicagoland has such a wonderful coffee legacy and we hope to add to that in the future.
